COVID STATUS CERTIFICATION (COVID PASSPORTS)
The practice is receiving a large number of requests about COVID vaccination certification or COVID passports. Please DO NOT contact the practice to ask for a COVID vaccination passport or status certificate - we are not able to provide any standard document. International certification standards have not yet been agreed. The Scottish Government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once it is safe to do so and they are working with the other UK nations and the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel.
We will keep our patients updated as soon as we know more.
During your telephone consultation, a GP or other healthcare professional may request you to take a picture if you have for instance, a rash.
The practice has a dedicated email address for sending any medical photographs too securely. If you are asked to submit a photograph, you will be directed to our website. Please use the email link below. When preparing to send the picture, please ensure that in the subject column you detail your CHI number / date of birth and the name of the GP / healthcare professional who has requested the picture. Once you have attached the picture, please write a brief description, i.e. "picture of rash on right arm" before sending. PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN PICTURES UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO SO OR HAVE A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT ALREADY BOOKED.
Please note due to COVID-19 we are currently only doing urgent/necessary reviews as per the GP/Clinician. If you require any more information regarding this please contact the surgery.
